There's a new footy chant sweeping the country, started by the Celtic fans.  It's taken from this song and of course, the original is stuck in my head now.

......how certain things get stuck in your head, song I mean.  It just takes a snippit of a song to be heard and that's it, you have the damn thing stuck there.  This one has been whizzing about my head today.

After the tagic news coming out of New Zealand, today's post is from a song penned by one of their own - Neil Finn.  The song is taken from an album that was reocrded in a place called KareKare, and the place name lends its name to the song title too.  The film, The Piano, was filmed here also.

Monday February 7th.

My Dad has had health problems for as long as I can remember.  On one particular occassion he was ill and we had some bad news.  This song was playing on the radio....

Today I'm feeling mostly rebellious......

.......and OK, I'm not about to strip off (god forbid!!) and start acting like Christina here, but this song often makes me think of rebelious people, not in the sense that she's acting in a seductive way or even the fighting bit, just the whole concept of the video itself.  It's controversial, to some, and she has that whole bad girl attitude going on, which I can relate to, so here it is.

The start of something new.

I blog, mainly about nothing in particualr, but still, it's my nothing in particular and sometimes it helps when life throws me a curve ball.  But sometimes I cannot find the words to express myself but the lyrics to a song just say it all.  Obviously I can't go around stealing the lyrics as I'd end up in a heap of trouble, so I decided to blog one song each day.  The song will express how I'm feeling and will probably sum my mood up more than a more conventional blog post could ever.
