A case of the blahs.

I have finally admitted defeat.  I am so much in bits over the shit I've been through and I can't hold onto all of my anger anymore, it's eating me alive.  I am going to see my GP - although the one I want to see has no appointments until May 17th.  Until then I am hanging on by the skin of my teeth.

One year on.

It is one year since my Dad passed.  I'm in a bit of a mess, emotionally.  Anyway, I have been feeling comfort in rainy, blustery days - everyone else is moaning about rain but I'm enjoying it.

Been so busy, so having to do some catching up.

My Uncle died yesterday, that's five deaths in sixteen months.  Uncle Johnny was my Dad's brother and when I was little he used to sing this song to me all of the time.

When I was looking for the song I had heard in Asda last week, I came across loads of gems from my childhood.  These gems were songs/records my parents used to play from their youth and early time together in the 50's and 60's.  Songs such as this:

I was shopping last week in Asda and a song came on Asda FM.  It was a song from the sixties - I think - and I had heard it many times.  By the time I got home I had forgotten it but knew I wanted to put it on here.  The next morning I awoke with the song in my head, but couldn't remember its title or who sang it.  I eventually consulted with my mother and we finally got the details.  This was the song.
